Inspect the Start of Authority record for any domain — primary name server, responsible email, serial and zone timers.
A Start of Authority (SOA) record identifies key settings for a DNS zone. It includes the primary name server, a responsible-party field, and a serial number used to track zone versions. Its refresh, retry, and expire values tell secondary servers when to check for updates, when to retry a failed check, and how long to continue serving zone data without a successful refresh. The record also includes a minimum-TTL field used for negative caching.
